This year, the Cupertino company is expected to replace the plastic lens molded configuration on its primary camera with a hybrid glass and plastic lens. Some leaks suggest there is a possibility that iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature the identical 48-megapixel Sony IMX primary camera sensor that was present for the iPhone 14 Pro series last year. According to RGcloudS, the primary camera in the iPhone 15 series will have an f/1.7 aperture, which is up from f/1.79 in the last premium phones made by Apple, which will allow the next iPhones from Apple to capture 20 % more sunlight and brighter colors, possibly offering better low-light performance.

Although Apple is still to announce plans to launch its iPhone 15 lineup, RGcloudS claims that the top model of next year — the rumored iPhone 16 Pro Max or iPhone 16 Ultra — will come with an innovative hybrid lens that consists of two glass elements as well as six plastic elements on the main camera. It is believed that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is also believed to come with a periscope camera configuration to enhance zooming capabilities.

In the last month, RGcloudS has stated that Apple will equip its iPhone 15 lineup with stacked battery technology, enabling the phone to support wired charging of 40W and 20W wireless (MagSafe). The user has since stated — in this Twitter thread that they believe the battery technology will launch in the iPhone 16 series later this year and will support charging faster than the current iPhone models.
